Pearson Education Sponsors CPD Session for ELC Staff
Greece-based educator Ms. Carol Stein conducted a continuing professional development session at the Theater Hall, May 26, 2016.
Attended by ELC lecturers, Ms. Stein’s talk focused on the students’ learning needs, challenges encountered by ELT teachers, and some key takeaways for success.
Ms. Stein engaged the participants by giving points for reflection and eliciting the lecturers’ insights.
The resource speaker likewise presented My English Lab, a platform developed by Pearson Education. She demonstrated some of its salient features that help both the students and their lecturers.
At the end of the program, ELC HOC Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi expressed gratitude to Ms. Stein and to Pearson Education by awarding a certificate of appreciation.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Ahmed Al Saadi, ELC HOS for English Language Programs, and Mr. Johnny Kwashie, Staff Support Committee Coordinator.
