Those were the words of gratitude expressed by ELC Head Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi during the End of Academic Year 2015-2016 ELC Staff Gathering held at building A 214-215 on May 26, 2016.

 

The ELC Head expressed gratitude to all the concerned ELC staff who contributed to the center through their excellent service.

 

Some of ELC’s  notable accomplishments this academic year include the following: Peer Observation Program, refinement and design of instructional materials for the Foundation and Post-Foundation programs, uploading of news articles and photographs in the College Website, editing of news articles from the different departments of the college, designing of a  placement test to be piloted in September, conduct of continuing professional development activities, and offering of language courses to limited-income family members.

 

Meanwhile, Mr. Ali thanked Mr. Said Al Abri for rendering selfless service to the Center as Head of Section for English Language Programs.

 

Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Ali Mahmood Al Balushi graced the event as he was requested to award certificates of appreciation to the coordinators and committee heads.

 

With the support of ELC Heads of Sections Mr. Nasser Al Hinddasi and Mr. Ahmed Al Saadi, the activity was spearheaded by the Staff Socializing Team, headed by Mr. Muneer Kub.
