The Oman Qualification Framework (OQF) Committee of the Engineering Department (ED) organized an orientation workshop for all course coordinators of Diploma and Advance Diploma courses for the Electrical Power Engineering Section at Room B-123, on January 22, 2019. 

 

The committee’s listing panel members headed by Engineering HoD Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi and lecturers Mr. Mahesh Aphale, Mr. Murali Boddu, Mr. Arun Gopinath and Dr. Lenin Ansel demonstrated the actual qualification and integrated system of OQF. The workshop also covered the following topics: OQF terminologies, evolving assessment criteria according to OQF guidelines, and assigning of level descriptors in line with OQF guidelines. 

 

The workshop aimed to train the Diploma and Advance Diploma course coordinators in framing the assessment criteria for the courses under the Electrical Power Engineering Section.
