Engineering Department visits Majis Industrial Services Company
The Research and Consultancy Committee of the Engineering Department organized an Industrial visit to Majis Industrial Services Company (MISC) last January 10, 2019. The visit was headed by their HoD, Dr. Ahmed Aballah Al Balushi and a number of engineering staff from different specializations.
Engr. Ahmed Al Mazroei, the CEO of MISC, welcomed the ShCT team and briefed them about the company. On the other hand, Engr. Abdullah Al Sadi, MISC Business Developer, gave a presentation on the company’s key operation areas and the challenges they are currently facing. After the presentation, they were given a tour around the company’s various facilities.
The department’s visit is part of their planned industrial visits in order to determine possible collaboration with various industrial sector companies through student projects or consultancy services.
