The Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) of the Engineering Department organized 5-day training on Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Programming & Machining for Mechanical Section lecturers and technicians. The training started last May 7, 2012. The resource speakers were Mr. Atchaiah Sastry, Mechanical Section lecturer and Mr. Sanjay Thomas, Mechanical Section technician. This course was specifically designed to improve the knowledge and skills of the staff on CNC machines. The training includes preparation of part programming and execution of the program to make the component of the CNC Machine. The faculty members and technicians of the Mechanical Section attended the workshop.
