Engineering Department (ED) Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi and Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) Mr. Arun Gopinath attended the ‘National Workshop for Engineering Programs 2019’, held at the College of Applied Sciences (CAS) -Sohar,  on March 12,2019.

Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) Professor Khalifa Al Jabri presented the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation fundamental procedures, processes and benefits.

The participants also learned how to frame the performance indicators from student learning outcomes, mapping of course learning outcomes to the performance indicators, and grading schemes to be adapted in the process.

Said workshop was organized by the ED-CAS.
