The Engineering Department (ED), in coordination with the Industry and Community Engagement Committee, facilitated a three-day short-term course on ‘Creative AutoCAD Skills’ at Room B110, on February 19, 20 & 21, 2019.

Eighteen Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel LLC employees attended the course and learned the basics of AutoCAD and 2D drafting tools with advanced sketching and settings.

They also acquired skills in drawing, editing, sketching, creative text and tables, basic and geometric dimensioning, editing dimensions and dimension styles, multileader styles, system variables, layouts, and plotting drawing with blocks.

ED staff Srinivasa Babu, Harish Rudraiah, Sumitha Manu and Muna Salim Al-Issaei served as the resource speakers.

The participants expressed their gratitude to the resource speakers and organizers and pledged to support the Engineering Department with its future training programs.
