The Engineering Department (ED) of Shinas College of Technology organized a short-term training on Soil Testing Techniques in B-002, Soil Mechanics lab on April 17-19, 2016.

The training was attended by three participants working in various companies.

Mr. Srinivas Boggarapu from the Civil Section was the resource person. He demonstrated the various techniques in Soil Mechanics.

The main objective of this activity was to enlighten the trainees on the estimation of appropriate amounts of the nutrients needed to supplement soil nutrients in order to obtain the planned yield.
