Four B.Tech Project students of the Engineering Department (ED) visited Higher College of Technology’s eco-house, on September 26, 2019.  

Organized by the Civil Engineering section, the field visit aimed to familiarize students with green building and its techniques suitable for the development of the Sultanate of Oman.

During the visit, HCT Green Nest Project and Construction Manager Muna Abdullah Al Farsi explained and demonstrated the main aspects of green building such as sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality.

Civil Engineering lecturer Mr. Asohan Kandasamy accompanied the students in the said visit.
