A group of 13 students from the Department of Business Administration, accompanied by Dr. Shazia Kausar, a lecturer in the department, visited Sohar Aluminium on 29th November 2023. This insightful industrial visit was organized by the Industrial Engagement Committee of the Department of Business Administration, led by Mr. Soofi Azizuddin Khusro. The visit served as a crucial component of the final assessment for the Talent Management course undertaken by bachelor-level students.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of Talent Management at Sohar Aluminium, gaining valuable insights aligned with their academic curriculum. The students engaged in fruitful discussions with the company's Organizational Development Lead, further enhancing their understanding of Talent Management practices in a real-world setting.

Expressing their gratitude, the accompanying lecturers from UTAS – Shinas, acknowledged the generosity of Ms. Hanaa Al Attar and Mr. Adil Al Niyadi at Sohar Aluminium for sharing their expertise. The lecturer emphasized the importance of fostering continuous relations between both organizations for future collaborative programs and developments. The industrial visit not only provided our students with a practical understanding of Talent Management but also strengthened the ties between the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas, and Sohar Aluminium.
