Around 30 BSD students attended an online OJT moderated and facilitated by BSD faculty members. The training session, which was held on 6th June 2021, is part of the semester three online OJT of the business studies department headed by Dr. Badar Al Shabibi.

The resource speaker, Dr. Jean Paolo G. Lacap, the Vice President of the City College of Angeles, Angeles City, Philippines, conducted the session entitled “Strategic Management: Crafting Strategic Competitive Advantage.” The speaker shared his expertise and insights on the various strategy, models, and tools for a business organization to create its core competency and achieve a competitive advantage. The speaker interacted and responded to students’ questions.  Dr Jean is also the president of the Pampanga Researcher Educators Organization and he previously taught at graduate schools of various universities in the Philippines and Malaysia.

Lecturers of the Business Studies Department, Mr. Reynald Funtinilla introduced the speaker and Dr. Suneel Kumar moderated the session and gave the vote of thanks.  Dr  Joefrelin Ines, HOS of Marketing, also expressed appreciation to the speaker on behalf of UTAS-Shinas.
