The Students Support Service Committee of the Department of Business Studies organized a workshop on ‘Sell Your Skills’ on March 22, 2016.

The resource speaker Mr. Jaffer Ali Khan, HOS for Accounting of Al Musanna College of Technology focused on the purpose and importance of a resume.

The workshop aimed to provide general tips for developing a resume, to point out some common errors, and to set some arbitrary rules.

The participants learnt about chronological and combination resumes, what to include in a resume, how to use resume action verbs, how to avoid common resume mistakes, and how to format and design their resume.

The guest was felicitated with a certificate and memento by BSD’s HOS for Human Resources Ms. Khadija Al Isaei. 

The workshop was organized by Dr. R. Alamelumangai and coordinated by Mr. Ahmed Al Saadi.
