In an exciting development, the Training and Career Guidance Center recently organized a highly productive meeting with United Solar Holding Inc., Polysilicon on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. As one of the emerging companies in the Sohar Port & Freezone, and the largest in the Middle East, this collaboration was eagerly anticipated. 

Representing: United Solar Polysilicon (FZC)SPC were Mr. Michael Zihao, Deputy Manager of HR Dept, Mr. Sultan Al Shamisi, the Recruitment Officer, and and Mr.Terries Fu , HR Department  . The meeting witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals from our institution, including the Head of the Training and Career Guidance Center, the Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Electronic Systems & Student Services, and the Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Graduate Studies, Scientific Research, and Innovation. 

The primary agenda of the meeting revolved around exploring the potential for a memorandum of understanding between the two entities, as well as the exciting prospect of providing training and employment opportunities for university students. Deliberations were held to ensure a mutually beneficial collaboration. 

Furthermore, to enlighten the university students about the latest market entrants, an informative introductory lecture about United Solar Holding Inc., Polysilicon is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 28, 2024. This will allow students to gain insights into the company's operations and open doors for future training and employment prospects. 

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the Deputy Assistant Vice Chancellor for Electronic Systems & Student Services expressing sincere gratitude to United Solar Holding Inc., Polysilicon for their participation. As a gesture of goodwill, the company representatives were then treated to a comprehensive tour of our university campus, showcasing its remarkable facilities and vibrant academic environment
