Delegates from the Gulf Acrylic Industries LLC (GAI) visited UTAS Shinas on Monday, 6^th June 2022. Mr. Karam Al Balushi Human Resources Manager and Mr. Sriram Krishnaswamy General Manager of GAI were welcomed to UTAS Shinas by Dr. Darwish Al Kalbani, Chairperson – Industry Engagement Committee.  The parties discussed future cooperation between UTAS Shinas and GAI.  Ms. Fatma Al Shibli, Head of ‘On the Job Training’ (OJT) at UTAS Shinas also joined the discussion.  Dr. Ahmed Al Shahri, dean of UTAS Shinas invited the delegates of GAI to participate in a workshop to discuss the new programs at UTAS Musandam. The delegates were given a tour of the IT Department, Business Studies Department and  Engineering department  where they discussed the different ways of involving GAI in activities of the Engineering department.  Dr. Darwish took the visitors to the ELC building, where they discussed the different ways of supporting the ELC projects and other activities by the industry.  The visitors were impressed with the self-study center and the computer labs in the ELC premises.
