ETC conducts Prompt Engineering with ChatGPT workshop for ETC staff
The Educational Technology Center (ETC) held a workshop titled "Prompt Engineering with ChatGPT" on 6th April 2023, at the E-library Main Building in UTAS Shinas. The event was scheduled from 10AM to 12 PM and was attended by ETC technicians from various sections. The workshop aimed to introduce the participants to the concept of prompt engineering and how it can be leveraged to transform work processes using AI personal assistants such as ChatGPT. The training also covered ethical considerations when using AI personal assistants in the workplace. The workshop was spearheaded by Mr. Elvin Arango, an ETC CSS staff member. The objective of the workshop was to provide technicians with scenario-based exercises using prompt engineering techniques. This hands-on training would enable them to use ChatGPT to revolutionize their work processes, increase efficiency and productivity, and ultimately benefit the institution. The workshop provided ETC technicians with valuable knowledge and practical skills to harness the power of AI personal assistants in their day-to-day work.
