The culmination ceremony, held at the Radisson Blu Sohar on 23rd May 2023, marked the unveiling of cutting-edge projects and the recognition of exceptional talent in the field of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Stepping onto the stage to officially inaugurate the ceremony was none other than the esteemed Vice Chancellor of UTAS, His Excellency Dr. Saeed Hamed Al Rubaie. The highlight of the ceremony was the exhibition of the top 10 finalists in both the start-up category and the graduation/final project category. After an extensive evaluation and meticulous deliberation, the esteemed panel of judges has selected the top three projects that have truly shined from the exceptional pool of finalists. In the Final Project Category, the third-place prize has been awarded to the outstanding team from International Maritime College/National University of Science and Technology. Claiming the well-deserved second-place prize is the remarkable team from UTAS-Shinas. Finally, emerging as the victors and securing the first-place prize in the Final Project Category is the exceptional team from UTAS-Shinas. In the Start-up Category, the third-place prize has been granted to the impressive team from Nameer Company. Garnering the second-place prize is the commendable team from ARIG. Lastly, taking home the highly coveted first-place prize in the Start-up Category is the visionary team from Ruqi Company. Additionally, it is worth noting that the first-place winners in both the Final Project Category and the Start-up Category will have the esteemed opportunity to represent the country in Dubai, showcasing their groundbreaking innovations on an international stage.
