IT Department organizes workshop on ‘21st Century Skills in Teaching’
The Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) of the Information Technology (IT) Department organized a workshop on ‘21st Century Skills in Teaching,’ on 6th of November 2018, held at Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building.
The Principal of Future Science International School in Suhar was the speaker of this workshop.
The workshop aimed to provide the staff with the most popular learning strategies in today’s environment the four C’s.
The speaker discussed the 21st century fundamental Skills (4C’s) which include collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking which teachers should integrate during their class time.
The speaker demonstrates the skills through using examples, where participate were required to work as groups and solve these problems.
The speaker encouraged the participants to start using these skills during their class time and see how it will affect the student’s achievement.
