The IT Department held a leadership workshop titled "Using Gamification in Enhancing Leadership Skills" on 29th May 2023, on campus at UTAS Shinas. The workshop aimed to empower employees with the knowledge and tools needed to leverage gamification techniques in developing effective leadership abilities.

The resource speakers for the workshop were Ms. Myra Patalay and Mr. Edgardo Dalan, faculty members from UTAS - Shinas, Department of Information Technology. They guided participants through a series of engaging activities designed to increase staff engagement levels and foster an environment where individuals are willing to embrace new challenges. Attendees were actively encouraged to participate in these games, enabling them to share their thoughts and experiences regarding gamification as a powerful leadership tool.

Fifty-three staff members from the IT department attended the workshop. The IT Staff Professional Development Committee (SPDC) organized and facilitated the workshop.
