The IT Department Community Engagement Committee held a 3-day workshop titled "Database Application in Python" from 8th to 10th October 2023, with the goal of introducing database applications using MySQL and Python, to the members of the community. The workshop also aimed to improve the application development skills of the participants.Attendees learned how to integrate database applications into Python programs. Lecturers from UTAS-Shinas IT Department, Ms. Myra Patalay and Mr. Edgardo Dalan, Jr. were the workshop's resource speakers and facilitators.The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to all participants. Ms. Amna Al-Kaabi, Head of the IT Section and Mr. Talal Al Qurri, Head of the IT Community Engagement Committee, presented certificates to a total of 9 participants.
