ELC lecturers present paper in national ELT symposium
Mr. Salim Al Badi and Dr. Joseph Decena Dayag, lecturers from the English Language Center of ShCT, presented their paper during the 2nd CAS English Language Teaching (ELT) Symposium held at Rustaq City, Oman, November 12, 2015.
Rustaq College of Applied Sciences organized the said symposium to provide an avenue for academic discussions among ELT practitioners in Oman.
Mr. Al Badi and Dr. Dayag disseminated the findings of their research “Facilitating EFL Learning through Edmodo: Omani Students’ Perspective.”
Moreover, both ELC lecturers attended a certified workshop on “Assessment, Self-Assessment and the Development of the Teacher’s Skills” delivered by Dr. Richard Kiely, a University of Southampton professor. Dr Kiely also served as keynote speaker.
