The Head of Center (HoC) of the English Language Center (ELC), Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi, led the Academic Activity which focused on shedding light on ELC Staff Evaluation and Lecturers Appraisal Form held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building, on May 1, 2014. Dr. Flora Bassey, Head of Section (HoS), Curriculum and Teaching Methods, discussed the main objectives of the activity as well as the Staff Appraisal Procedure and Guidelines. On the other hand, Dr. Joaquin Gabayno, Jr., ELC Quality Assurance (QA) coordinator, presented the contents of the ELC Staff Evaluation and Lecturer’s Appraisal Form. At the end of the session, an open forum was conducted to answer some of the queries of the lecturers. The HoC together with the HoSs, QA Coordinator and the Asst. Dean for Academic Affairs, Ms. Aysha Mater Al Jabri, shed light on the queries raised. Finally, Mr. Aldrin Apolonio, asst. QA coordinator, distributed a copy of the Staff Evaluation and Lecturer"s Appraisal Form.
