To continuously improve the process, procedure, and performance of higher learning institution, the Shinas College of Technology – Quality Assurance Department Administrative Team spearheaded by Dr. Syed Sulaiman Hussaini, Ms. Fawziya Yousuf Salmeen Al Jabri, and Dr. Joaquin Jr. Gabayno visited the Quality Assurance Department of Sohar University on March 5, 2015.

The main objective of the QA team’s visit is to exchange ideas and experiences of the accreditation process where S.U. has already undergone a pilot accreditation procedure with institutional Standard Accreditation Process.

Ms. Gweneth O’ Gorman, Quality Assurance Manager and Prof. Hamza Edrees, Quality Assurance Dean of Sohar University discussed and exchanged ideas with the ShCT-QA team. Gorman and Edrees shared their experiences to the team like forming a centralized group composed of nine committees, the significance of ADRI, KPI, and good practice in ROSQA. Also, they mentioned about an invitation of external reviewer from other countries like UK and Australia.
