VALE Oman Pelletizing Company, spearheaded by its HR Manager Mr. Hassan Al Balushi and VALE Brazil expert Ms. Vera Martins, visited Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) on November 5, 2019.

During the visit, College Dean Dr. Ahmed Al Mamari welcomed the team and presented ShCT’s roles and achievements with regard to collaborations with the Industry for Research and Consultation.

Engineering Department (ED) Head Dr. Ahmed Al Balushi and Quality Assurance Department Head Ms. Maryam Al Aufi gave the visitors a tour to ED’s laboratories and workshops. Throughout the tour, the team discussed opportunities for collaborations with ED Industry Coordinator Mr. Mahesh Aphale.  

The team’s visit provided ShCT an opportunity to understand VALE’s needs and requirements and explore possible areas for mutual cooperation and development between the two organizations.
