Math Club conducts lecture
The Math Club conducted a lecture on “Analytical and Reasoning Topics to Enhance Employability Skills” at Rooms A-229 and A-230, Main Building, on June 20, 2019.
The lecture was attended by 17 Post Foundation students, and a number of Math students and lecturers.
Mathematics Club Coordinator Dr. Satyanarayana Bora presided the event and explained the importance of analytical skills during job interviews.
Math lecturers Dr. Devendra Kumar, Dr. Satyanarayana Bora, Dr. Madhu Sudhan Reddy and Mr. K. P. Santhosh Kumar served as the resource speakers.
Dr. Kumar discussed the role of analogy, teaching, learning and comparing things, types of analogies and mathematical problems related to analogies, while Mr. Santosh explained logical reasoning and problems based on directions and the distance between them.
On the other hand, Dr. Madhu Ssudhan Reddy elaborated the concept of calendar and smart tricks to calculate calendar problems.
Dr. Bora underscored the methods and shortcuts to deal with questions based on the concepts of clocks.
The event served as a venue to encourage students to develop their logical reasoning in finding solutions to problems through analytical skills.
