The Information Technology Students’ (ITS) Club sponsored a workshop on Cybercrime Awareness to IT students at Room A-033, on March 20, 2018.

Abdullah Saif Muhamed Al-Jabri, Bachelor Networking student, served as the speaker.

Different types of cybercrime were discussed to the participants.

The workshop focused on how to combat cybercrime as it is a fast-growing area of crime not only in the Sultanate but across the world.

Abdullah said “Internet became a part of our lives, so we can be a victim, and as students, it is very important to be aware of how we are being protected while being online”.

The workshop concluded with all queries answered.
