The Information Technology-Shinas (ITS) Club held a training on ‘Course Project Documentation through LaTex” to Advanced Diploma and Bachelor Course Project students at Room A-127, on February 5 & 26, 2019.

Math lecturer Dr. Satyanarayana Bora served as the resource speaker. He demonstrated the use of different tools and features of Latex such as inserting images, tables with caption, table of contents, and bibliographies.

“LaTex is an essential tool for the preparation of scientific documents. It is more portable across different platforms. Once you have a template, it is very easy to develop it according to your specification,” said Dr. Bora.

LaTex will be used for the Course Project Final Report Documentation for both Advanced and Bachelor projects.

IT Head Ms. Amina Al Jabri expressed her gratitude to Dr. Bora for sharing his expertise.
