The Information Technology (IT) Department spearheaded a webinar using the Microsoft Team application on June 16, 2020.

Dubbed “Python Concepts used in Research,” the webinar aimed at introducing Python programming language for statistical learning and its corresponding Python libraries.

IT lecturer Ms. Myra Patalay, the resource speaker, explained graphing and data visualization using mathplotlib, manipulating numeral data using numpy, and statistical functions of scipy and statmodels.api using the Anaconda and Jupyter IDE.

Attended by 59 Shinas College of Technology staff, the said event is part of the webinar series organized by the Staff Professional Development Committee of the IT Department.
