In line with the Information Technology (IT) Department-Staff Professional Development Committee’s (SPDC) goal to provide continuous learning for its staff, the IT Department conducted a webinar on “Digital Image Processing (DIP)” on June 10, 2020.

Attended by 49 Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) staff, the webinar aimed at increasing their interest in undertaking researches related to DIP.

IT lecturer Dr. Abdul Rahman, the resource speaker, discussed image enhancement, restoration, morphing and segmentation using Microsoft Team application.

Said event is part of the Department’s webinar series that will run until July 2020.
