Math Club of IT department awarded 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners in the Search for UTAS-Shinas Math Genius 2022 on 20^th December, 2022. 1^st place winners are Abrar Abdallah Hamdan Al-Shezawi and Muzna Khalifa Zayid Khamis Al Hosni, 2^nd place winners are Abdulmalek Juma Eid Salim Al Yahyaee and Ahmed Hussein Ahmed Al Balushi and 3^rd place winners are Fatema Ibrahim Abdul Rahman Al-Zaraouni and Maryam Abdallah Rashoud Al Dhuhuri.

Search for UTAS-Shinas Math Genius 2022, spearheaded by lecturer and Math Club coordinator, Dr. Madhu Sudhan Reddy Katta is composed of 2 rounds, the preliminary round, conducted on November 22 where 142 UTAS-Shinas students were subjected to a 30-question Math questions in elearning. The scores of a 2 member group were added and ranked and the top 15 were invited to the final round on December 13. 3 members, composed of 2 members each won the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd places. The winners received mementos and certificates.
