The Information Technology Department (ITD) Alumni Committee organized a short term training program entitled “Exploring IOT Features”, on 25t^h, 27^th and 29^th November 2018, held at A139 and A218, Shinas College of Technology Main Building.

A total of 30 participants registered for the training program and 12 attended all the training sections.

Networking Section lecturer Dr. Venkadeshan Ramalingam served as the resource speaker.

The training delivered the basic concepts of IoT fundamentals and scope, different types of sensors, and applications where it has been deployed.

Said training helped the Department’s Alumni to get exposure on CISCO Packet Tracer (sensor based), CISCO-PL-App and some real time sensors like Temperature Sensors, Light Sensors, Motion Sensors, Ultrasonic Sensors which could be helpful in their future career.

The training session ended with the distribution of certificates by Networking Head of Section (HoS) Mr. Syed Mehar Shah.
