The ITRC conducted an event entitled ‘Hands-on Data Analysis of Survey Questionnaire using Excel for Students doing Research Project’ on 30^th  November 2021 for Bachelor Course Project Students and Research Methodology Students.  The event aimed to prepare students towards carrying out the ‘Survey & Analysis’ component, as part of their research project.  Students from Bachelor and Advance Diploma of IT Department participated in the event. Dr. Prasanna, Chair Person of ITRC, introduced the speakers Dr Shija Gangadharan and Mr. K P Santhosh Kumar of Math Section. Dr. Shija presented on research methods and methodology, types of research, steps in conducting research and tools and techniques in collecting the data using a ‘Survey Questionnaire’ In Mr. Santhosh’s presentation, he explained about data analysis, graphs and charts, data tabulation, steps in analysis, construction of frequency distribution and t – test for sample mean using excel.
