Shinas College of Technology (ShCT), in a cooperation with the Health and Safety College Committee (HSCC) and Royal Oman Police (ROP) conducted an Awareness Lecture on the new traffic laws in the Sultanate of Oman on September 10, 2018, at Theater, Engineering Building.

The awareness lecture was presented both in Arabic and English. Captain Nasser Al Balushi from RoP delivered it in Arabic while Mr.Aaras Kraidi, Engineering lecturer presented it in English.

The lecture covered the traffic laws and by-laws and updates of Traffic Law 32/2018 in the Sultanate, new driving license point system, temporary driving licenses, and traffic fines with points accumulated on each offense.

Data analysis from 2010 to 2017 in term of (accidents, deaths caused by accidents, injuries and issuing new driving licenses) was also shared to the audience.
