The Educational Technology Center (ETC) Library Section facilitated a two-day workshop on “Designing Home Library for Children” on January 5-6, 2019 at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Wilayat of Liwa.

ETC librarians Ms. Fatma Al Balushi and Ms. Fatma Al Kharousi served as the resource speakers. They underscored the importance of putting up a library at home and demonstrated various ways of designing one.

As part of the Ministry of Culture’s initiative “Mother reads, Society grows”, the workshop was attended by female staff of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

ETC, in coordination with the College Community Training Committee of Shinas College of Technology, aims to share technical skills and knowledge to all by expanding its reach to the community and neighboring institutions by conducting IT-related training sessions and workshops.
