In order to enhance the news writing skills of the academic and non-academic staff of ShCT, Edward B. Langcay and Rhona Maria A. Waga, ELC lecturers, conducted the first writing workshop at the VIP Lounge, last Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 10 AM. The workshop on News writing aimed at providing participants the basic knowledge and skills in writing news. The initial targeted participants were the staff members who are in-charge of creating news, articles, editorials and the like which are to be published in the college website and other forms of publications in the college. Amina Al Jabri also discussed the process of uploading articles in the college website. The Dean, ADAF, Head of ELC and Head of QAU, with 40 participants from different departments and centers, attended the workshop.
