Ms. Safiya Al Makmari, a new ELC lecturer, introduced to the ELC faculty a teaching application—Kahoot—through a workshop held at the ShCT Multi-Purpose Hall, November 16, 2017.

Ms. Safiya underscored that Kahoot can be used in various ways to enhance the students’ communication skills.

At the end of the workshop, Staff Support Coordinator Mr. Given Chakalisa expressed gratitude to the presenter for “having succeeded in keeping the participants engaged and aroused great enthusiasm on the topic.”

Mr. Chakalisa stated that this workshop is part of a series of workshops being conducted in response to the training needs of the ELC faculty.

A holder of Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, Ms. Safiya has just recently joined ELC.
