The English Language Center conducted a program on ‘Honoring Top Achievers and Awarding English Club Members’ at the Multi-Purpose Hall, on January 21, 2019.

 

The top achievers of the Foundation program for semester 1 (AY 2018-2019) received certificates of merit while the English Club members were given certificates of appreciation for their continuous efforts in organizing events within the ELC. Mr. Younus Mohammed Al Zaabi, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Balushi, Head of ELC, congratulated the awardees and awarded them with certificates of recognition.

 

Mr. Ali Al Balushi commended the English Club members for always taking the initiative to bring ShCT students together in a relaxed environment so that they can receive the appreciation they deserve, and the same time, show their talents.

 

The said event, which was attended by ELC teachers and students of the Foundation Program, was organized by the English Club, in cooperation with the Center's Student Support Committee.
