Dr. Darwish Al Kalbani, lecturer from the ELC, presented a workshop titled "Referencing Made Easy: An EndNote Web workshop for busy researchers" on 18th May 2023. Attended by ELC lecturers and guests from Shinas Vocational College, the workshop introduced the major functions of EndNote Web, a user-friendly tool for creating references and bibliographies on Windows. Participants had a hands-on experience using EndNote, discovering its usefulness in simplifying the research journey for researchers at all levels. Dr Darwish explained that by automating reference management, EndNote Web reduces the burden of compiling and organizing sources, allowing researchers to focus more on their core objectives. He emphasized the significance of such tools in improving productivity and work quality. Participants praised the simplicity and user-friendly nature of EndNote Web, recognizing its value in enhancing research workflows and facilitating collaboration. The workshop served as a reminder for researchers to embrace innovative resources like EndNote Web to streamline their work processes. The ELC remains committed to empowering its faculty and researchers through continuous learning and growth within the academic community.
