The Staff Welfare Committee of the English Language Center held a two-session ‘Health, Happiness and Energy Workshop’ on October 21, 2019 at the ELC Building.

The workshop aimed at teaching the participants the following: managing stress naturally, powerful breathing techniques, and guided meditation.

Ms. Manorama Cyril of the Art of Living Foundation served as the resource speaker.

During the event, the Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) female lecturers and staff enjoyed meditative practice exercises with Ms. Cyril. The male lecturers and staff, on the other hand, learned how to release mental stress using simple breathing techniques.

Staff Support Committee Coordinator Mr. Given Chakalisa expressed his gratitude to the speaker and awarded her a plaque of appreciation.
