ELC conducts 3rd Annual ELT Workshop
The English Language Center (ELC) of Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) organized the 3rd Annual ELT Workshop with the theme “Motivation: Perceivable Needs and Achievable Outcomes,” 27th April 2011.
More than 200 participants including presenters, professors, lecturers, teachers, students and key invitees from Sohar Aluminum Company, Vale Company and from the other Colleges of Technology in the country attended the said event.
The keynote speaker Prof. Abdul Qawai Al Zubeidi of SQU, an expert in Educational Psychology, researcher, speaker and publisher, delivered the plenary lecture with the title ‘Motivation: Developing and Maintaining Student Motivation’ through a series of theories and discussions.
The session presenters were Zainab Al Balushy, Sultan Qaboos University, Nasser Abdullah Al-Hindasi, Shinas College of Technology, Marvin Wacnag Lidawan, Shinas College of Technology, Larry Vander Spek, Al Musanna College of Technology, Jayaron Jose, Ibri College of Technology, and Ali Mahmood Al Bulushi of Shinas College of Technology.
