The Staff Support Service Committee at the Engineering Department conducted a webinar on “CNC machine tools and 3D printing.” on the 3^rd of May 2021. The webinar was facilitated by Dr. Afrim Gjelaj Assistant Professor, University of Prishtina. The live session was inaugurated by Mr. Jamal Aslam, HOS, Mechanical Erection, Engineering Department and was attended by various staff from University of Technology and Applied Science (UTAS-Shinas) Mr. Satish Shankar, Member of Staff Support Services Committee welcomed the participants and the resource speaker.

The webinar provided an introduction of CNC machine tools, such as cutting tools, flexible manufacturing, coordinate system, G and M codes, CAM system for CNC machine and 3D printers such as prototype of products with additive manufacturing. Dr Latha Jayaraj, member of Staff Support Services committee thanked all the faculty members for attending the webinar.
