The Civil Engineering Section of the Engineering Department arranged a lab visit on 15^th December 2021, to Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) Muscat, for faculties who are working on different TRC funded projects. The members of the visiting team included Mr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Maria Rajesh, Dr. Binumol and Mr.Yousuf Al Alawi. Dr. Naima Epse Boudidah, Assistant Professor, SQU, coordinated the visit, Dr. Khalifa Al-Jabri, Professor, welcomed the faculty and Mr. Juma Al- Rezaiqi, Superintendent at SQU, guided the tour of the Civil Engineering Laboratory.  The visit allowed the faculty to observe various advanced experimental set-ups, with different loading conditions, prototypes and testing models of their students’ projects. They discussed about the prospects of UTAS-Shinas students to conduct project work in the future.
