OQF conducts training workshop
The Oman Qualification Framework (OQF) of the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) conducted a training workshop held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, on March 24, 2019.
Attended by 38 course coordinators from various departments for courses in diploma and advanced diploma level in Electrical Power specialization, the workshop aimed at acquainting the participants the processes of developing learning outcomes, assessment criteria and assessment methods.
OQF Consultants Ms. Margaret Cameron, Ms. Margareta Simona and Ms. Ruth Roy served as the resource speakers.
Ms. Cameron discussed the workshop’s structure and importance of OQF to the course coordinators involved in the listing process of qualification.
Ms. Simona shed light on the framing of outcomes and the significance of using correct level descriptors, while Ms. Roy explained the formation of assessment criteria and usage of the correct assessment methods based on the learning outcomes.
Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) Dean Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Mamari expressed his gratitude to the speakers for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
