The Civil Engineering Section of the Engineering Department arranged a field visit for two B.Tech Project students, currently working on a TRC funded project.  The field visit, which took place on the 15^th  of November 2021 was managed  by Dr. Maria Rajesh, Lecturer, Civil Engineering. Mr. Ghalib Al Maqbali, Manager at Haya Treatment Plant-Sohar and Mr. Abdulhamed Mohammed Al Feteisi, Engineer at Haya Treatment Plant Sohar, guided the students through the visit.  The visit provided a great opportunity for the students to gain knowledge about the stages of treatment process, Lab facilities required for testing the samples, merits and demerits of conventional method of treatments.The manager, Mr. Ghalib Al Maqbali and Engineer Mr. Abdul Hamed Mohammed Al Feteisi, were extremely impressed with the students’ TRC project work related to ‘Natural Method of Wastewater Treatment Process’ and asked them to submit the final project report to make them as a new proposal!
