A group of Bachelor and Advanced Diploma Civil Engineering students attended a training on ‘Concrete Quality Control and Testing-Session 2’ at Room B-014, on March 5, 2019.

ED lecturers Mr. Prakash Kandasamy and Mr. Umar Sabhapathy, the resource speakers, discussed the quality standards of hardened concrete and its assessment using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).

The speakers demonstrated the various aspects and methods of finding the hardened concrete’s quality.

To test its quality, the students used micro cover meter and rebound hammer tools.

The Engineering Club organized the said event.
