Engineering student attends GPCA Annual Forum
Electrical Engineering student Mr. Ali Mohammed Ali Al Kamzari attended the 14th Gulf Petro chemicals and Chemical Association (GPCA) Annual Forum with the theme “Leaders of Tomorrow” from December 3-5, 2019 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.
Mr. Al Kamzari joined the other 48 students from the different academic institutions in the Sultanate of Oman who were selected to participate in the forum after passing the rigorous interview and written examinations conducted on October 29, 2019 at the International Maritime College Oman (IMCO).
Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries (ORPIC) Company and Oman Oil Group served as sponsors for the students.
Petrochemical Industrial giants in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) such as Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), ORPIC, Siemens, Saudi International Petrochemical (sipCHEM) Company and Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbul (RCYJ) participated in said the forum.
The forum aimed at updating the participants’ knowledge on the latest happenings in the petrochemical industries and helping them build their networks with the pioneers in the industry.
