Faculty members from the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Sections of the Engineering Department (ED), along with 13 Bachelor students from the Mechanical Section of the Department, visited Sohar Aluminium Power Plant, Falaj Al Qabail, Suhar, on November 29, 2018.

During the visit, Training and Supports Engineer Mr. Hamad Khalfan Al Sinani demonstrated the various stages in power generation for the faculty members.

On the other hand, Mr. Hamad showed the operation of steam turbine and gas turbine combined cycle for power generation to the students.

Said visit was arranged by the Industrial Liaison Committee of the Department.
