Staff Support Services Committee of the Engineering Department organized 51^st National Day celebration on the 18^th of November 2021. Dr. Ahmed Abdallah Mohammed Al Balushi, Head of Department for Engineering, inaugurated the function which was attended by chief guests Mr. Ali Abdullah Ali Al-Alawi (Assistant Dean for Student Affairs) Head of Centre for ELC, Mr. Saif Juma Salim Al-Weshahi and Head of IT Department Ms. Amina Salim Mohammed Al-Jabri.  Engineering staff and students  joined the celebration enthusiastically, which included a video presentation exhibiting the glory and traditions of Omani culture and the heritage of the Sultanate of Oman. A selection of traditional Omani snacks were offered to guests. The event filled the day with love and respect towards the country and its leaders.  The ceremony was thoroughly enjoyed by staff and students who attended.
