ELC lecturers Dr. Joseph Dayag and Mr. Aldrin Apolonio shared their knowledge on avoiding plagiarism with the Engineering faculty and students at the ShCT Multi-Purpose Hall, Engineering Building on March 7, 2019.

Dubbed “Avoiding Plagiarism: Writing with Integrity,” the seminar workshop aimed at explaining the significance of avoiding plagiarism and citing sources appropriately.

“As plagiarism is a serious case in the academe, students need to learn how to avoid it by citing sources properly—be it in direct quotations, summaries, or paraphrases, ” the presenters emphasized during the seminar.

“If you always write with integrity, you will never worry about plagiarism and its consequences,” added the resource speakers who are published researchers and registered reviewers of The Research Council (TRC) of Oman.

Mr. Basavaiah Kalyan Kumar, Head of Section of Engineering Department’s Electrical Section, organized the seminar workshop.
