The Staff Support Committee (SSC) of the Engineering Department (ED) organized a webinar on “Online Pedagogy” on June 7, 2020.

Attended by Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) staff, the webinar aimed to acquaint the participants with the various methodologies and aids used in online teaching.

 ED lecturer Dr. Baskar Gopalan spearheaded the event.

Using the Microsoft Teams application, he introduced online pedagogy and elucidated the most effective practices in online teaching.

Topics on course types, creation and uploading of learning materials, online presentations and lab courses, engaging students, opportunities, accessibility and classroom expectations were also discussed.
