Engineering Department (ED) lecturers Mr. Niyaz Ahamed  and Mr. T. Raja conducted a seminar on “Power Plant Operations, Industrial Safety and Risk Management” held at Theatre, Engineering Building, on March 6, 2018.

Dr. Mahmoud Khazalah, Head of Section (HoS), Civil Engineering Section (CES), and Mr. Jamal Aslam, HoS, Mechanical Engineering Section (MES), welcomed the speakers on behalf of the Department.

The purpose of the seminar is to get practical knowledge and to know about the operations of the various power plants and its uses. Topics discussed were Industrial safety and risk managements.   

The seminar was initiated by the Industrial Liaison Committee of the Department.
